Well done to the brave writers who shared their stories with the class. You all read your work beautifully and with great expression.

Thanks to our budding photographers for their efforts capturing the first signs of spring in our beautiful outdoor area. The bulbs are coming up, our robin is getting fat eating all the dried meal worms and we have two little bluetits visiting the feeders.
Inspired by yesterday's scientists, IW decided to try to make a bigger, brighter solution for Orion's fear of the dark. Fab effort!

These budding scientists worked together to create something to help stop the hero of our story from being afraid of the dark. They used excellent problem solving and team work to create a circuit that lit up a light bulb. Well done!

We used role play to explore this question.
"Why don't you watch where you're going?"
"You are horrible!"
"Hey, be careful! You might hurt someone, or yourself!"
We discovered that when we are feeling good about ourselves, we tend to make the right choices and the good feeling spreads, but when we are feeling bad, we make poor choices and negative feelings spread. It's important to recognise when we are feeling bad so we can make more ore effort to manage our behaviours and stay mentally healthy.

A child-initiated, peer-lead maths booster group this lunch time, exploring arrays and multiplicative reasoning. What fantastic reciprocity!

Three of our very talented writers have been working hard on their ability to 'show, not tell' their readers what their characters are thinking and feeling. They worked independently and collaboratively on these fantastic passages, changing my simple sentences into entire paragraphs.
